Bijoux-NYC Direct is an online-only premium diamond jewelry storefront serving retail customers and wholesale-ready buyers. We want every customer to feel confident when ordering fine jewelry online. This Return Policy explains our 30-day return window, return conditions, non-refundable shipping charges, refund processing, and how to request a return.

30-Day Return Window

Bijoux-NYC Direct accepts eligible returns within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be returned in the same condition it was shipped and received. Items must be unused, unworn, undamaged, unaltered, and returned with original packaging and included documents when applicable.

Return requests must be started within 30 days of the delivery date shown by the carrier tracking information.

Eligible Product Lines

Our 30-day return policy applies to eligible items in our diamond, gold, and silver jewelry lines.

Some items may not be eligible for return if they are custom, altered, resized, engraved, special-order, final sale, damaged after delivery, or missing required packaging or documents.

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused and unworn.
  • The item must be in the same condition as shipped.
  • The item must be free from scratches, damage, signs of wear, perfume, lotion, residue, or alteration.
  • The item must be returned with all original packaging.
  • Any certificates, grading documents, authenticity cards, tags, labels, boxes, pouches, or included accessories must be returned with the item.
  • The return must be approved before the item is shipped back.

Items returned without approval may not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Custom jewelry
  • Engraved items
  • Resized items
  • Altered or modified items
  • Special-order items
  • Final sale items
  • Items damaged after delivery
  • Items showing signs of wear or use
  • Items missing original packaging, certificates, documents, tags, or included accessories
  • Gift cards, if offered

If an item is marked final sale on the product page or at checkout, it cannot be returned unless required by law or unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

  • The name used on the order
  • The item you would like to return
  • The reason for the return
  • Photos of the item and packaging, if the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect

If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions. Please do not send items back without receiving return approval first.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Because Bijoux-NYC Direct sells fine jewelry and high-value items, approved returns should be shipped using a trackable shipping method with insurance and signature confirmation.

Bijoux-NYC Direct is not responsible for return packages that are lost, stolen, damaged, delayed, or delivered without proper tracking confirmation.

Original Shipping Charges

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.

This includes Standard Shipping with Signature, Two-Day Shipping with Signature, Overnight Shipping with Signature, or any other shipping service selected at checkout.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or not as described, contact us at info@bijouxnycdirect.com as soon as possible so we can review the issue and help resolve it.

Please include your order number and clear photos of:

  • The item
  • The packaging
  • Any visible damage
  • Any incorrect product details

We will review the issue and determine the next step, which may include a replacement, return, or refund depending on the situation and product availability.

Inspection and Approval

All returned items are inspected after they are received.

A return may be refused, partially refunded, or subject to additional review if the item is:

  • Worn or used
  • Damaged after delivery
  • Altered, resized, or modified
  • Missing packaging, certificates, documents, or accessories
  • Returned outside the 30-day return window
  • Returned without approval
  • Not in the same condition as shipped

If a return is not accepted after inspection, we may contact you about having the item shipped back to you. Additional shipping charges may apply.

Refunds

Returns are processed within 3–5 business days after the return is received.

Once an approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the refund status. If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Please allow additional time for your bank, credit card company, or payment provider to process and post the refund.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.

Exchanges

Exchanges may be available depending on product availability.

Because jewelry inventory can change, we cannot guarantee that the same item, size, style, or design will be available for exchange. If you would like a different item, we may recommend placing a new order after your return is approved.

Retail and Wholesale-Ready Orders

Bijoux-NYC Direct serves both retail customers and wholesale-ready buyers.

Larger orders, high-value orders, and wholesale-related orders may require additional review before a return is approved. Wholesale-related purchases may also be subject to separate written terms if those terms were provided before purchase.

Refused or Undeliverable Orders

If an order is refused at delivery, returned to sender, or becomes undeliverable due to an incorrect address, missed delivery attempts, or failure to pick up the package from the carrier, the order will be reviewed once the package is received back.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is caused by an error on our part. Additional shipping charges may apply if the order needs to be reshipped.
